No, it really isn’t. When we make a custom piece, it is built to last. We use the highest quality gemstones and metals, and of course, our jewelers are excellent at what they do. We can design just about anything you want. Our prices are comparable to other jewelry stores in the area, but the quality of our pieces cannot be beaten. We also have state of the art CAD program and equipment to build the wax, thus you can see what your piece will look like before it’s made.

All jewelry sold by Drue Sanders Custom Jewelers is covered by a one-year warranty against defects. This warranty does not cover neglect, abuse or damage. All of our gemstone jewelry comes with a lifetime guarantee that the stones will not fall out, providing that the item is inspected on a semi-annual basis and any recommended repair or maintenance is carried out. Check setting reminders are sent out via email or regular mail at six month intervals.

We are more than happy to make a new piece of jewelry out of your gemstones.

It usually takes about three weeks to complete a custom piece. Plan ahead if you need something made for a special occasion.

We do all of the repairs here at our location. We have excellent jewelers on staff that can repair just about anything you need.

We recommend buying a GIA certified diamond. That is what we will usually sell to our customers. GIA is the company that founded the diamond grading system. The GIA certified diamond is graded most accurately and is indisputable as far as the color, clarity, weight and measurements. GIA is an independent lab that specifically grades the diamond, they do not sell diamonds. We have GIA graduate gemologists on staff.

Yes we do. There are GIA graduate Gemologists on staff to do appraisals here.

Yes it is. We have a number of bench jewelers here. All of our staff are well trained and highly accomplished.

Yes we do. We also have layaway as an option. Ask our salespeople about options for financing.

No, we don’t use the actual gold from older pieces. Old metals may have solder and impurities which will cause porosity in a new casting. We will however give you a scrap credit toward a new piece that you want made. Metal values fluctuate daily so the scrap credit is based on the price of the metal on that day.

No, without seeing a piece of jewelry or your exact design, we have no way of giving an estimate on work. Please bring it in and one of our staff with give you an accurate estimate.

Custom work requires a 50% deposit as well as repairs over $250.00
