I was referred to Drue Sanders by a friend who had an amazing experience designing a custom engagement ring for his now wife. I could not have been any happier that I listened to his experience and decided to find out for myself. I was able to easily schedule an appointment online and got a fast response from Drue. When I went in to see Drue for the initial consultation I had fairly good idea of what I was looking to design for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. Drue was beyond friendly & very receptive listening to my ideas in the direction that I wanted to go. She was able to take my ideas, improve upon them greatly and create a custom engagement ring that is just absolutely breathtaking. Going to Drue for an engagement ring was truly a wonderful experience. I had never done anything like that before and she helped walk me through all the steps. I told her what I liked and what I thought my (now) wife would like, and she helped me to create a one of a kind ring that we still can’t stop looking at.
If you’re thinking any old custom jeweler can do that, you might be right; however, Drue went about and beyond what customer service should be to help us out. I was a day late to pick up my ring, and she cut her Lake George biking trip short to finish the ring, and the next day, July 4th, she met me in her shop so I could “pull the question” later that evening.
After the first experience it was a no-brainer on who to go to for wedding bands. I love mine, but that doesn’t begin to describe how my new wife feels and looks at hers, it really is perfect. Thank you so much Drue.

Shortly before Christmas, I picked up the engagement ring I’d ordered – sapphire, filigree, and based, if you recall, on a design from another jeweler that Frances, my girlfriend, had identified as her “ideal” ring. I was, of course, very impressed with the finished product when I picked it up, but my opinion was not really the one that counted.
At the time I picked up the ring I wasn’t sure how or when I’d give the ring to Frances. I did eventually figure out those “minor” details and this past Monday, in front of the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City, I proposed and she said “Yes.”
Since then, she’s been unable to take her eyes off of her new ring, and has told me more than once that it is everything she’d ever dreamed of. The response from our friends and family has been just as positive, and rightly so – you and your team did truly excellent work.
In this particular instance, it was important to recreate an intricate design as near as possible within my budget. You met and exceeded our expectations.
Equally, throughout every step of the process, I found you and your staff friendly, helpful, attentive and professional. As I assume most men do, I had a good deal of apprehension going into the ring-shopping process but, thanks to you and your team, it could not have been any easier.
I also recall that you said you’d be interested in taking pictures of the ring to include in your portfolio. If you’d still like to do so, we’d be glad to stop in.

When my fiancé and I were looking at rings, it had never occurred to us, that I could have one custom made for me. By chance I stopped into Drue Sanders, and was greeted right away with a friendly smile, and a willingness to see what I had in mind, and how she could create that for me. She went over all of our options, as far as size, and clarity, and was blown away, when I realized how much the other jewelers were overcharging for a much smaller stone, and a lot less clarity. With Drue, we were able to get a much larger stone, perfectly clear, and well within our price range. As picky as I am, Drue was so patient, and so eager to please as she brought me in several times, to review the plastic cast of my ring, and adjusted it time and time again, until it was perfect to make.
